The present route, known as Las Plateras, It surrounds the mountain called El Jaral, known as this because of the plant of the same name that we can find in it. We will walk along wide paths, Most of the route we can enjoy a smooth path, although we will find some slopes of little intensity. In relation to vegetation, we can enjoy the beautiful landscape between holm oaks, olive and almond groves, that are now in bloom, as well as something very characteristic of this land, the typical prickly pears of El Jaral. We begin the route with a slight descent, which will soon transform into a very slight upward slope that will accompany us for the first half of the trail. In its first third we see the town of Olvera, As we advance on the route we will surround the mountain and expand the views, highlighting in its northern part the view of the Peñón de Zaframagón. As we progress along the road, the El Gastor Reservoir will come into view. – Zahara, of which we will begin to see the part of the dam, which will be expanded until you have a panoramic view of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. At the top of the road we have the El Jaral Soccer Field, one of the only ones in the region left with natural grass. After the soccer field we will begin to descend. We will pass by a wonderful viewpoint where we can stop to rest and enjoy wonderful views of both the Reservoir and its surroundings and the Tajo Algarín.
