EL PÓPULO AND ROMAN THEATER – ARCHAEOLOGICAL ROUTE + 2 WINES + PAIRINGS
ATTENTION: to reserve places, call Genatur
The route starts from the Arco de los Blancos, located in the historic center and ancient vestige of the first gate of the city. There will be a tour of the medieval fortified compound Yazirat Qadis, old citadel, where is currently located the Barrio El Pópulo. You will also visit the ROMAN THEATER, the oldest on the peninsula. Then there will be a commented tasting of 2 roman wines, made with the ancient recipes inspired by the treatises of Roman agronomists such as Palladio and Columela and will be accompanied with 2 pairings.
