5$ – 12$

Jerez de la Frontera can boast of being one of the cities with the most trees in Spain and one of the first cities in Europe where the Tree Festival was celebrated dating back to 1898. Currently it has 9 gardens declared of Cultural Interest, more of 100 trees classified as unique due to their rarity, size or uniqueness. Through the “Species Route”, We invite you to discover the origin and history of the trees of our city, through a journey of sensations and events through space and time.

The northern route runs along Álvaro Domecq Avenue, one of the main arteries of the city of the 20th century , until it ends in the Plaza del Caballo and later in the first public park that Jerez had.: González Hontoria Park. Nevertheless, Along this wide avenue there are interesting wooded areas adjacent to homes and hotels., that house interesting botanical specimens and offer a corner of peace among the crowds and traffic of the avenue. The itinerary culminates in a stately park of winery origin: Williams Park.
